What started as one man in a van has grown into one of Forrestfield's most trusted commercial truck workshops. At Hailwood Heavy Automotive, we've built our reputation on honest service, quality workmanship, and keeping Perth's trucks safely on the road.
Proudly family owned and operated, our workshop sits in the heart of Perth's transport and industrial hub. Although we've grown over the years, our values haven't changed. We're committed to doing things properly, and providing personalised service every step of the way. We know that when your truck is off the road, your business is too, so we make every visit as straightforward, efficient, and hassle-free as possible.
Our team of qualified diesel mechanics have over 30 years of experience between them. They've worked throughout Australia and New Zealand on a wide range of truck makes and models, including buses, emergency vehicles, cranes, mining equipment and custom heavy vehicles. Leader of the pack and company poster boy is Lance Hailwood. Truck nerd, league lover and diagnostics guru, Lance founded the business in 2018 and has been giving it his all ever since. So much so, he's even roped his wife in to help with the admin.
Specialising in Japanese and European trucks, particularly Scania and Isuzu, we combine expert knowledge with a practical, down-to-earth approach. Whether it's routine servicing, diagnostics, repairs or preventative maintenance, we're here to keep you moving with confidence.

We're proud to have a fully equipped workshop, inclusive of hoists, diagnostic tools, and air con gassing equipment. With mobile servicing vehicles on hand as well, we've got the flexibility and capacity to cater to larger, more complex jobs, while also being able to assist with breakdowns and on-site repairs.
